I’ve written a book called YOU CAN’T F*CK UP YOUR KIDS. I used my 15 years of journalism experience to bust parenting myths and revive the #NoShameParenting movement, which empowers parents to be proud of the way we raise our kids, and gives us the tools to stand up to any judgment. This movement is for moms, dads, and caregivers of all races, religions, backgrounds, classes, ages, etc.
Want to share your #NoShameParenting story with me? I’m seeking stories where parents or caregivers felt judged, or laughed off judgment, or supported another parent. Topics could include: Pregnancy (did you drink? Gain more than the recommended 25-35 lbs), breastfeeding, the way you gave birth (chose a c-section? Didn’t want an epidural?), food, sleep training, childcare (staying home vs. your job vs. daycare vs. nanny), discipline, tantrums, screentime, your marital status, etc etc etc. (whew!)
Also, please send me a photo of you and your kids, if you feel comfortable. You can obscure your kids’ faces. Or just send a photo of you. They may be used in my book and/or on my new Instagram or Facebook pages. If you’re based in NYC, I’m happy to snap your photo with my nice camera, and send you a high-res copy. Let me know your Instagram handle if you’d like to be tagged. You can still submit a story without a photo.
