“I was mad at the kid”

“I was watching as another kid pushed my son. I went over and collected him. I was mad at the kid’s mom. I was mad at the kid. I was feeling a lot of feelings! I wasn’t sure what to do. So we moved to another park. And then the kid followed us there! But then he befriended my kid, and they played.”

Thanks Danni for sharing your #noshameparenting story. We all want to protect our kids at all costs … but sometimes giving them a little space leads to resilience and even new friendships. Although I totally want to go full ⚡🌪🔥💥☄ any time another kid messes with my kids!
