“I couldn’t pick up my third-grade daughter from school one day, so I sent my other daughter, who was in 7th grade, to go pick her up. I got a call, ‘Your older daughter is here and we don’t allow that.’ But she was 13 years old and on the list to pick up her little sister. He got feisty with me: ‘We don’t let kids pick kids up.’ I really felt judged, even though she’s 13.”
Thanks K for sharing your #noshameparenting story. Remember how two of the baby sitters club members were 11?!
