“Today you, tomorrow me!”

“Once I was walking down the street in Brooklyn while one of my kids was having a meltdown. A mother with her two very well behaved kids walked past me and said, ‘today you, tomorrow me!’ with a knowing smile. I cried! It’s become a mantra when I get worried about what someone thinks of me in public, and I make sure to say it to other parents when I see them struggling with their kids.”

Thanks @thearielview for sharing your awesome#noshameparenting story! This is a good follow up from yesterday’s post. I’m going to borrow that phrase too 💪🏼
