“Don’t shame me, you don’t know what I’m going through”

“My children have spent 50 hours a week in childcare since they were 3 months old. The women and men caring and educating my children see them more than I do. There are many days that I’m sad we don’t see each other more, but I feel so fortunate to have incredible people helping raise my kids while I GET to go to a job that I feel passionate about and keeps their mom happy and sane. In a dream world I would be paid more, and I’d have a flexible schedule and family would be closer and and and, but that’s not reality. Don’t shame me, you don’t know what I’m going through, let me parent the best that I can.”

Thanks to a close friend for sharing her #noshameparenting story. It takes a village to raise our kids, amirite?!
